Dear All,

I would like to know what you think about my Duncan. Half of it deploys polyps and the other is retracted.

I give it a DIP last week-end without result. I saw no parasites on the body. All others LPS are fluffy.
Before it was in very good shape.

Thank you

Could the shrimp be bothering it?

Water parameters :

Tropic Marin tests :
kH : 9
pH : 8.4
No3 : 3
Po4 : 0.4

Milwaukee salinity tester : 34 ppt

Temp : 26°C - 78.8 °F

Other LPS in the tank to illustrate le "fluffy" state :

I think the Duncan have a parasite in its branches. Perhaps I have to split it in two parts tot avoid more contamination.

Any other advices ? Maybe I will try a FWD. At this point nothing to loose : it seems dying day after day :(

Thx

Hello,

I installed a new media reactor with 200gr of Fauna Marin UltraPhos. Waiting the PO4 to drop.

I finally cut the Duncan and remove the bad (dead ?) part. Keeping the one with poping polyps. Hope it will be healthy soon and recover well.

Thanks for your attention :)
