Not so much an ID, but i just aquired a small colony of acans that are red and white striped around the outer rim with rainbow centers. I was told that Rev and Marvin might have some of these. Any help or pic would be great. Lights are off here but i'll snap a pic tomorrow to show. Just figured if you had them you would know which ones i'm talking about. Only reason i ask is that i've seen a lot of morphs and never anything like these before.

It's just another rainbow acan. Mostly all the aussie's have the white stripes or green stripes. I have one like it. Very cool indeed. Wait till you get a hand on the orange one with rainbow in the center. They are awesome.

More trying to track down who has this morph. I aquired it from a guy that may have first recieved them from Rev or Marvin. Thats all. With that said, i've sold a lot of rainbows through the store, but this is special. I'll need to post a pic.

Thank you, at least now i know i'm not crazy. I'm really trying to find out where the rest of these guys are at. They were in my buddies tank for a couple years. I know these weren't imported with just the few polyps i have.

That one is nice also, i guess i just like the fact that it is a rainbow with solid red and white rim. Makes it a tad unique in my eyes.

Did someone say candycane?

I think the stripes changes in lighting condition. I have acans that have nice white lines but some will lose the white lines especially when they get big!!

Tropical Melt <-- Took me like 5 minutes to come up with that hahaha.

THAT is one rainbow acan. I wish my LFS's had stuff like that. Mine do have acans but theyre usually like 30+ polyps for something like $120. The price isnt the problem, but if I usually can only afford frags, ya know?
