I've kept a variety of fish over the years since I've been involved with this hobby but I've never had Bangaii Cardinals like this before that completely refuse to eat anything I feed them.

I've tried frozen foods Mysis and Brine.
I've tried chopping up some table shrimp.
I've tried flakes Spirulina and Ocean Nutrition Formula Two.
I've tried feeding at both Day and Night with the light on then off.
Haven't tried live food or pellet's but I'm wondering if there any other advice for getting these fish to eat I have three BTW.

Fish eggs or live brine can usually get picky eaters going, as can nutramar ova.

I have a breeding pair and have kept them for years, they live on clams and live blackworms. They also get some Mysis. Meaty foods is the key for them. If they won't eat that, there is probably something wrong with them

frozen is not as good, but mine will go after bloodworms with enthusiasm. They aren't the best food though. Call around to your local stores a lot of fresh water aquarium keepers feed live black worms. As Paul said if they won't eat those they wont eat anything.

I got them to eat a few bloodworms. Not many maybe one or two.
But they seem like they don't wanna chase the food down after they eat one.
Could they still be adjusting to the tank?
Bought them on the 10th of this month only been in the tank 5 days.

I have two bumble gobies that won't eat anything, but thin sliced and diced scallop or clams. Not to highly interested table shrimp. All 9 of my fish love the scallops and clams. I use a razor blade to cut it. Food for thought

Sorry you must of been in another state we don't have worms the size of blackworms or bloodworms here under rocks.

I found a place that sells egg larvae and blackworms but i have to wait until next Thursday and I'm worry my Bangaii Cards will have starved to death by then.
Not sure how long they can go with only two of them taking single bits of bloodworms.

I've tried garlic in all of them they seem to run from it idk why they're being so stubborn makes me nervous and I hold myself responsible if they don't eat if they die because I couldn't get them to eat I blame myself so I'm really hoping they start eating soon.

Losing first Bangaii Cardinal It laying on it side gasping for air.
I'm guess it starved but I'm also fearing parasites. Other two are fine as of now I've seen those two eat a few bites here and there.

What kind? I'm desperate.

I haven't lost a fish since I was new and added a Flame angel to a tank before QT it first. Lost a Powder Blue Tang to Ich along with the Flame Angel.
