I have the Duetto, I like it. The Smart ATO is pretty good as well.
JBJ ATO pumps have not been good to me.

I have the Duetto and Smart ATO Micro. I like the Duetto. If you want a mechanical float look at the IceCap ATO, or Tunze 3152/3155.

I was in your position with my nuvo 20 and I highly recommend you investing a bit more to get the Tunze 3155. It fits with the tank and is extremely reliable. ATO is one of the things where quality matters the most, one error and your room can be flooded and your salinity will be off the charts. I've never used either of your options, but I've heard failures with the smart ATO.
