Using a turkey baster , blow gentle burst over that area and reduce white light intensity a little and add blue intensity

Also what is your tank temperature and salinity and are you using tap water. Also ammonia and nitrate level ?

Have done that.
Temp 78
Salinity 1.025
Ammonia 0
Nitrate is 50 been that way for 4 years.
Phoshates .025
Alk 8.5.
Using rodi water 0 tds
It's my fish traveling through the area causing my palys to close up on that side.

Very little white.

I would increase flow to area which may cause fish to steer away due to current

I tried that and my leathers where very unhappy
Would you recommend removing the leather from the area. I can cut it

iT WOULD NOT HURT AND THEY DO CUT EASILY.
That they are. After watching for bit more its really my clow who is sitting there. She's not hosting but its slightly above the nems.

Clowns are so dumb. They would host a stick of dynamite if it were in the tank. Have one hosting GHA right now . . . DUH

My nem just split. She is hosting both that gap between the leather and paly is where she sits when she isn't in the nem. Neither nem is close to the paly.

What about sticking a piece of rubble where that gap is?
I did just that thank you. My goodness she is not happy. She is giving that rock the stink eye. When repositioning the rock she had a heck of a swipe at my hand.
