hello my name is Jayson. I’m fairly new to the salt water world. And this morning I came across my first disease.. I would really apreate it if someone could help me identify it recommend what actions should be taken. It’s on my fire fish. I just noticed it this morning, like some weird white growth. He doesn’t seem to be acting in any weird ways. Just makes me very nervous. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The best I can do at my local fish store is melafix. So I’ll give that a shot. Thank you!
Melafix won’t help you’d be better off ordering on amazon and feeding the fish a good variety of frozen foods soaked in selcon, zoecon, or vita chem and live foods (live blackworms for example) and keeping the water clean. I’d advise against doing anything with melafix in this case.
