Should I be worried about this white sponge? And what kind is it? Can someone help?

Does it peel off or spongy to poke? I get this too every once in awhile. Sometimes it just falls off and its almost got a rubbery type texture to it. I always thought snail eggs or something along those lines.

It also looks like a sponge.
Okay so basically nothing to worry about right? They started growing on some of my corals like acans and gsp , wanted to make sure they weren't dangers , thanks for your help

Some I consider beneficial and part of the biodiversity. Most are good but a few can be invasive so keep an eye on it.

It’s poriferan sponge and can be evasive. If out of control, expose to air or inject via syringe with air or vinegar and they’ll wither away.
they really don’t filter feed like many sponges but grow effortlessly.
