So I had two clowns, I kept the larger and traded in the smaller. Got a smaller platinum clown from a friend, it was the only clown in his tank. Put him in my tank, and my larger female is bullying the new one, actually trying to kill it I believe. It's pretty brutal. What should I do?

Sounds like you have 2 girls , don't think it will ever stop ....you might have to remove the small one otherwise it will most likely get killed

+1 on having 2 girls. Clown fish change sexes. Juvie-male-female. You likely had a female male pair (big one being the female) when you took the one that was solo, even though it's smaller it was alone. Which gave it a chance to go female without another female there keeping it male. If you can get back your original male and return the new one it'd be best

Yeah, makes sense. The smaller is in the sump, will have to re home her. My old clown, I'd rather not have in the tank. It's a smaller tank, can't have to many fish. So id prefer two designer clowns. Would I be able to add another male?

Try and buy from a tank with a few clowns and don't buy the biggest or if their all small and the same size maybe their all still male
I'm no expert by any means so I could be wrong
