My Triton test came back with low Bromine and Boron. I am using Red Sea Trace but can’t find the dosage to raise the levels in my tank (how many ml/ gallon to raise a certain ppm). All their direction relate to you calcium dosage but I don’t dose that product.

I did see the BRS video that explained what my “maintenance dose” should be based on my daily dose of BRS 2 part but can’t find the dose to raise the levels based on my system volume.

Thanks in advance for help!

I would not use an additive mixture to boost boron and bromine. Other things will get too high. I don’t consider either of these very important, but boron can be dosed using 20 mule team borax. Bromide will need a specific chemical additive.

Thanks Randy. My reds have been a bit off so was not surprised these were low when the triton test came back (if there is really a color relationship to these elements).

I doubt there is, but let us know if you detect a change. :)
