I download the program and install in my PC but when I try to set up the MyGHL the actual operate is not as your myghl manual show.
The problem for me is I can not change the security key in the actual operation. So how and I can change it and save it?
First, I'd recommend that you update to the latest "Stable" version of GHL Control Center and Doser 2 Firmware! Which is V1.0.8.7 for GHL Control Center, V1.20 for Doser 2.
Your screenshots show that you are currently on firmware 1.11(?) dates back to June,2015.
@eltonw Make sure you are selecting the correct COM port for the USBVCOM driver. This message will show up if the correct COM port number has not been selected or if the USBVCOM driver is not installed.
@eltonw - it's not the physical connection, but in your device manager. Once you click on firmware update, and the doser reboots into bootloader mode, you will see a screen asking for which com port - this needs to match the USBVCOM com# in device manager. Please have a read over the instructions.
Also the Security Key for MyGHL you cannot change. Once your doser is on the network, and has ability to communicate with the internet and MyGHL, the Security Key will populate. This you will use on MyGHL.com to add your device.
I follow the direction but the screen show can not started!
The USBVCOM number I found it in device manager and it isnumber 2. I also use number 1 ,2 and 3 but still does not work.
any further things I can do?
Hello - Please attempt the update, and provide a screenshot of your device manager.
Can you access the Doser over the network, and does it have a valid IP/Gateway/DNS configuration. If the doser cannot communicate with the internet, cloud, it will not be able to connect to MyGHL.
You need to specify a Default Gateway IP address for any network device to be able to reach a subnet outside of its own class. As previously mentioned, please set your valid network Default Gateway.
I do apologize, I am not able to read the language your computer displays, however it looks like the driver is not installed for the vcomusb device. Please follow the instructions on the screen where it asks for the Com port, the path to the driver is listed there.
As Marco mentioned, it seems that the necessary USBVCOM driver is not installed on your PC. The update will not work without this driver.
To install it, please do the following:
1. Right-click on the yellow exclamation mark and click "Update driver software"
2. Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
3. Click on "Browse" and find the driver:
a. Click on “(C: )”
b. Then “Program Files(x86)”
c. “GHLControlCenter_Vxxxx” (Your current version of GCC)
d. “Tools”
e. “FUJITSU USB DIRECT Programmer”
f. “driver”
g. Select the “Win7” folder and click “OK”, then the “Next” button
Once you have done that, you will be able to see the USBVCOM driver listed in your device manager. Take a look at the COM number that is beside it and enter that number into the COM number field in GCC.
These steps are outlined w/photos on page 39 of the manual.
