Hello,

I have a waterbox 220.6 and I need more fish in my tank. I am open to any and all suggestions. I want this tank to look full.

Must have: one of any of these -

1. Scopas tang
2. Gem tang
3. Purple tang

Currently have:

1. Blue Hippo 3”
2. Kole tang 5”
3. Lyretail anthias - 4 females
4. Ocellaris clownfish - 1”
5. Yellow coris wrasse - 2.5”
6. Large yellow/blue Midas Blenny
7. One scissor tail dart fish
8. One fire fish

I have 11 fish and the tank is completely empty. Just live rock, sand and like two frags. I add fish maybe a month and a half apart due to rigorous quarantine process.

I run a reef octopus 220 int skimmer.
The tank is 8 months old. This will be an acropora dominant tank when it’s ready. Thank you!!

1 of the 3 tangs you listed would be fine.

A foxface would be another bigger fish that would work well.

You could do several fairy wrasses, 1 of each species.

You don't have any perchers. I like flame and long nose hawks. My favorite goby is the pink spot watchman.

Foxface sounds awesome, been thinking of one but I really wasn’t sure due to their size.
So you’re saying:

preferred tank from my list
Foxface
Some sandsifting gobies - I want a couple diamond watchman gobies to help stir the sand
Perching fish
More wrasses

thank you!

Is the waterbox a 6x2 foot? If so, any foxface, but maybe not some of the bigger rabbits, would be fine for life.

I'm not sure how the diamond gobies pair. They do sift well. Try to get one that eats at the store, and make sure you have a tight lid. Most of diamond gobies either jump out or starve. Should be fine in a 220 with a lid.

Fairy wrasses are awesome, and there's lots to choose from.

Hawkfish are really cool, they're extremely active and when they need to rest they perch on rocks/corals etc. They're fun to watch
