I am newish to the hobby and purchased a Waterbox Marine X 90.3 aquarium. My display tank measures 35.4" Long × 19.7" Wide × 21.7" High. How many G6 XR15 blue / pro (Are G6 XR30 blue / pro overkill and not needed and will just waste money?) fixtures would I need for this tank if I wanted to do high end SPS - LPS & softies in the tank. My goal is to get the nice blueish color that will make my corals and fish pop like neon colors while keeping somewhat visible for viewing and not as if its nighttime in the tank all the time.

Anyone who can help would be nice as This is kind of new to me.

2 would work for a surface area of 36 x 20. I personally wouldn’t buy Radion G6s though, an older G4 is the most desirable one based on reliability. However although many people use Radions there are more lights on the market now that are way better lights for the money. I like Reefi UNO 2.1 Pro but there are others as well.

I’ll look into that. Any other additional advice would be helpful on my decision too and thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.
