Need help with Red Sea Doser

I recently bought the 2 head red sea doser and I have been trying to fix this issue for over an hour and I am stumped. The device is connecting perfectly fine to my wifi but when i close the reefbeat app and reopen it, the device is gone. I have reconnected the device back multiple times and when I do, the settings are restored. It’s all fine until i close the app, then the device is gone. And I can verify 100% that it’s connected to the wifi because I can see the device on my wifi status. Please help if you can, this is very frustrating.
 
Have you tried resetting the red sea doser, reinstalling the app, or unplugging and plugging the doser back in?
