Hello,
I am building a new tank and need some help. I went with the SC150 gallon rimless tank with external overflow. I am putting it on an alufab aluminum stand. My question is what should I put on top of the stand for the tank to sit on. I was going to use 1/2 pvc board and then some type of foam or compression type material. I’ll take any ideas anyone has before I do his. Thank you.

What does the tank manufacturer recommend??

Actually, that sounds perfect. That is what IM does for their tanks. PVC board is a non- expanding material and the foam will take up any small imperfections. You can also use neoprene for that layer.
