Hey guys!

So I'm setting up the triton method on my tank. I don't currently have a controller or a dosing pump.
Obviously for the Triton method you have to dose the 4 chemicals, so I needed suggestions in the best controller/dosing pump combo!

Also is a dosing pump absolutely needed for the Triton method?

Lastly I don't really understand the dosing side of things... I see some people's builds for SPS tanks and they don't have a dosing pump included on their equipment list... so how do they dose the needed elements for their tanks?

U don't need a controller or doseing pump.

To dose without one u would measure the amount in a measuring cup and sump it into the sump. Wait thirty mins to an hour do it again. Then wait another 30 mins to an hour and u can do liquids 3/4 together.

Or u could dose one every six hours.

Electronics make it easier that's all because you can tell u how much u want to dose a day and it will break it up evenly for u thru out the day making the tank more stable.

If it was me I would do a ghl doser and monitor

If not reefbreaders has a four channel doseing pump for 169 I believe

Hope that helps
