Hello everyone. I’m looking for suggestions for a uv sterilizer for my tank. Not sure the exact water volume but it’s somewhere between 105 and 125. Looking for something simple. Thoughts?

When I got mine, I picked it up used from a tank tear down and it was a good deal. It is an aqua ultraviolet 57 watt model. And it’s fine. No complaints. But if I were buying one new, I would seriously look at Lifegard pro max. They seem well built, are reasonably priced and appear to be easy to take apart for maintenance.

They are currently out of stock, but yiu could probably find that model or one similar from another vendor.

Yep, I second lifeguard. This unit has sleeves on the inside that protect the actual UV casing. You just swap those when you replace your bulb every year and you keep your unit in good condition.
