Not sure how it would look but what if you used your "shelf" pieces to create a bit of a "cascade" from one end and sort of ended at one of the 1/3 points. Then used the tonga branches to creates a negative space structure as the 2nd island towards the other 1/3 point.

Pretty sure that is clear as mud but in my head the types of rock you have screams mountain and forest. And you could get some neat structure with the tonga and create some cool coral placements. Hopefully one of the other members might explain what I am trying to say better! :D

Would love to get advice on my scape for my first tank. Waterbox 20 gal cube

At first I went for a few Cave designs, but I'm wasn't quite satisfied with how they look.

I landed on this, which I thought looked nice? i also attached a video which I think helps showcase the scape. I am open to experimenting too if this is a lackluster scape.

Also, it's a bit wobbly. I've read that for smaller tanks you don't need to glue your rocks, how much wobble should there be? If I do need to glue, could anyone link me to some good superglues on amazon to use?

Wow, I love this thread! So awesome of you to offer this to people!
I currently have a 130 litre, and a 250 litre. Will be transferring the current live rock and corals to the new, bigger tank. I would really love your input on what I should do with the extra space in the new tank. Here are pics of both. Don’t mind the rock leaning up against the background in the new tank....that’s just a seeded rock shelf that I put in for cycling.

first thing i notice , your whole scape is at one line from left to right , try to use the whole tank instead of only the backside.
too get some ideas you can look on google "reefscape" and you will get enough ideas too make your own ideal scape.

Hi guys. I’m in process of my first tank ever. It’s a 4x2x2 classic 120gallon. It’s been a long road. Finally time to aquascape. I’m just looking for a little bit of expert help. My rocks are bigger than what I would like but living in an apartment it’s annoying to have to take them to a park and break them (my tank is a secret as my apartment doesn’t allow it). So basically I’m trying to make it work without having to break the rocks to smaller pieces. I really like caves and arches because although I have fallen in love with coral but I would also like it to be a happy and fun place for my fish. So far this is all I got for the right side.

Hey guys!

I’m not happy with my aquascape in a waterbox peninsula 25 gallon and want to change it but don’t want to spook my fish too much. What’s the best way around this? And does anyone have any experience changing their scape with fish in?

thanks!

omg! call the grouper police! Keep him well fed and he’ll grow giant. Don’t and he’s eat all of those anthias

1, 2, or 3? Honing in on my final scapes

That stand is beautiful. Custom?

Here’s one for the group. Setting up my new 180 and trying to get the rockscape right

This looks too symmetrical for me. Both sides are the same shape and both are square with the front glass. Turn one a bit diagonal and make one so it has a steep slope on one side and a gentler slope on the other.
