This looks too symmetrical for me. Both sides are the same shape and both are square with the front glass. Turn one a bit diagonal and make one so it has a steep slope on one side and a gentler slope on the other.
Thank you for the input. I couldn’t agree more. Aquascaping is one of the most fun and frustrating parts of a new build

Just finished my first ever aquascape. 65gal tank, 36” wide. Have already started a fish-less cycle but still have time to tweak the rock, so all constructive criticism welcome! Am still busy tweaking the flow in the tank, getting too much sand swept up on the two front corners at the moment.

Ended up with two towers, each composed of roughly 10-15 rocks/old coral stuck together. Still have some seems and joints showing but hope that coral will Hide it. Used acrylic rods, reefwelder expoxy glue (love the stuff) and superglue gell.

Tried to make it look like an old arch or crescent moon structure that broke apart forming the two towers. A few shelves, including a 10” overhang shelf, four caves, and multiple tunnels to swim through. Also have four islands. The tower on the left is set further back than the tower on the right.

Any input on adding little bits of eggcrate shelves on this branch rock that I have for sps placement?

I realized after the tank is up and running now the vertical branch rock is really poor for mounting a fair amount of coral.

Trying to add a nice real estate for corals and keep the open swimming space for my fish. Something like this or I bridge the two rock islands. That gap is a prime spot directly under the light fixture. Was trying to keep it open if possible.

Would love any feedback! I wanted a minimalistic scape with a lot of flow for SPS. I’m going to put an island on the front right side. I’m also going to put some rubble rock in the seams when I mortar it. It is 10.5” tall to leave room on the top for SPS to grow in - tank water height is 19.5”. The black lines are for the tank dimensions

Any thoughts on how to change up the rock in my tank? It has been set up for a few months and every time I look at it I think it's boring and plain.
The dimensions on the tank are 30x12x22. The tank is only viewed from the angles in the pictures.

first thing i notice , your whole scape is at one line from left to right , try to use the whole tank instead of only the backside.
too get some ideas you can look on google "reefscape" and you will get enough ideas too make your own ideal scape.

Looking for input on a scape here. Lagoon style tank, going to be mixed reef, but may lean more sps this go around.

I took inspiration from the WWC 1200 lagoon with this design! (Light is just there to help photograph)

Needing help placing corals in a nicer arrangement. Problem is the flow is too strong on the back right side for most soft/LPS corals with height. Can you help?

Looks great , the only thing i would change are the small stones apart from the scape.
Those i would take out..
Good luck with the start.
