I have been moving rock many times and just not happy with the final appearance.
Any input would be great as I am planning on redoing it once again this weekend.

It is a 240 Gal (8x2x2)
The plan is for room for Corals to grow out

Here are a few suggestions that I think will have a big impact in opening up the tank and give it more depth.

You're still splitting the tank right in the middle and the 2 structures have the same height.

But you're doing and excellent job in making the structures seamless.

I would make a bigger separation between the 2 structrures by moving those 2 rocks a bit to the left.

I particularly like the structure on the right.

I tweaked it a bit

At the moment it looks a bit strange because of that donut on the left :) but I think that when you cover it in corals it will look more natural.

But if you come up with some other arrangement for the rocks on the left, you can make it look better before you add corals :)

Remember that the corals will add a lot of volume so it may be a good idea to create a slightly bigger separation between the 2 structures.

That big horizontal bridge isn't helping the layout look natural.

I would try the 2 islands aquascape (1 big and 1 small).

How about this?

@aaron186: Do you mind sharing what kind of rock that is? I'm shopping for rock for my 250.

Thanks.

it's carib sea life rock. A combination of the normal base rock, shelf rock, and shapes. BRS sells it but if I could do it over I would purchase it from my LFS. Some of the pieces I got were just too big to use and I ended up buying more of it from my LFS. However my LFS was significantly more expensive than BRS
