I am wanting to red mine. It consists of 4 rocks right now. 2 archway type rocks and 2 solid rocks. I am not opposed to adding more rock or breaking some of it up. I want to try and keep as much original rock as possible so I don’t create a mini cycle. I want something a bit more natural looking. Thanks

It is a 29 gallon tank.

I would try rotating those base rocks, so that they point to the back of the tank and make the tank look deeper.

That pillar on the left looks a bit awkward. I would try to use that rock to make that central arch look beefier. It's too thin and looks a bit artificial.

Hey everyone! I set up my Evo a few weeks ago and I plan on making it a macroalgae tank! I decided to take advantage of the peninsula style, let me know what you think :D

You already have bit of sinuous motion, I would exaggerate it to help to make the tank look deeper, which is even more challenging in peninsula tanks.

So this is the tank I just started, currently in cycle. I’d like to hear your option on the scape. Since I’m learning as I go, I mostly plan to start with fish then move on to Softie/LPS.

yes . it is a peninsula tank

Have you seen this?

If you go with the 2 island layout, esides the tips on the video, I would advise not to scatter corals. Regarding the zoas, you can put most of them in one of the structures and leave one for the other structure. This way it will look more tidy, but not too tidy while helping to create harmony between the 2 steuctures.

If you fix these straight lines by moving rocks just a couple of inches towards the back or front, it will look more natural.

I would also consider removing the smaller arch and let corals later close that gap.

Very interesting structure you got there. If you're going for a minimalistic look it can work.

It's too 2 dimensional though. You can change that with corals intead of adding more rock, so you can keep it minimalistic. You can also rotate and or bend the structure into a U or S shape.

If you have a few pieces of rock left, I would try using them to make the tank look deeper, either by expanding the structure towards the front or adding another structure in front. It doesn't need to (or should) be something big.
