I have a 13” x 13” x 24” deep reef tank I’ll be setting up soon.

I was going to get a Kessil A80, but they’re $130. I have the opportunity to get a Aquamaxx Prism CC for 50 bucks. Brand new. I only want to put soft stuff in the tank like shrooms, zoos and stuff like that. Is that light enough to penetrate that deep?

I want to put a 3-4” sand bed in there as well as live rock for a goby pistol shrimp pair.

If you can get the Aquamaxx for $50, that's a steal! I'd go for it.
