Need ID please

I have an explosion of these little white critters ALL over the glass. They are white, tiny, very active and have what appears to be small little tails of some sort. I did not see them yesterday and this morning they are everywhere. Any ideas of what they are? Pods?

Ok cool. I thought they were nocturnal. I'll refrain from cleaning the glass and killing them then.

Part of your tank cycle. Feed them phytoplankton and they will proliferate.
