So I have a 20 gallon mixed reef with a gold assessor and a green mandarin. I love the mandarin but the assessor hides 99% of the time, I have been thinking of adding a 3rd fish to the tank to liven the place up a bit but need some ideas. I was thinking of a clown fish but I know those do better in pairs and I think 2 might scare the gold assessor to the point that it stops eating. (if this is unlikely please let me know) What do you all think would be a good fish to add that is pretty active and colorful. Are there any dottybacks that are not terrorists?

Thanks!

I've heard that the Elegant Dottybacks aren't as bad. As for other fish the Yasha Haze Goby and almost any other goby would probably do well.

I have had bad experiences with gobies carpet bombing everything with sand, are the haze any different?
