I have 100 gallon quarter round corner tank, I have a light that the leds keep going out on. Everything seems to be healthy with it but I want a little better quality, how many watts should I need, I like the look the leds give and also can only run 1 light because of the size and shape of the top of the tank.

What kind of LED do you currently have? What kind of corals do you want to keep? Whats your budget for new lights?

No coral and I think they are called relassy they are supposed to be 300w, and for a budget 200 to 300.

do you plan to have any corral ? if no 1 prime 16 hd should be good! I just bought 1 for my tank and I really love it. The price is good compare to other light and it fit in your budget.

I really like the look of corner round tanks, and your scape is sharp! They can be challenging to evenly light though. The main factor is how much light will you need? What types of coral do you intend to keep?

As of right now no coral. I want to get more live rock and some more fish. I have 2 cardinal, a yellow tang, and a blue spotted puffer

Four AI Primes or two Hydra 32s would be good. I love my Aqua Illumination setup

No coral then light is not a factor.
I use Visparspectra 165w coming up to 4 years now.
They also have a 300w, 30” model that might work for $240
This way if you ever add corals, you have plenty of light available.

No for sure, I have the 52hd and I love it. The App and functionality are great, but if your on a budget those 2 are good and can grow anything

What are the actual dimensions of the tank? Do you intend to stay with a Fish Only tank? I understand that you have no corals now, but you need to buy for the future so that you don't have to buy again next year. And if yo do want to get corals, will they be soft, LPS, or SPS?

As someone else said - if it will remain a fish only tank, you could light it with a lightbulb in a socket. The fish could care less.

The APPS are fun, the functionality is great, but corals don’t care much about functionality, they just need light in the correct PAR and spectrum and rock solid consistency.

The ones I got from Visparspectra were very very well made, coming up to 4 years of service.
While rare, I got more than I paid for in this case..........IMO
