Need new rock but what kind?

So in a last ditch effort before I force myself to get a hole new tank I want to change my rock work in my DT to see if I end up liking it more. But my question is what rock? Its a 95G cube 30x30x24. To tell the truth im not even sure how many LB's of rock ill need. So where is a good place to get rocks from? BRS, Macro is kinda out for now because I dont want to cure.

I have heard good things about these guys and have seen some of their rock in a few stores and liked how it looked but I haven't bought any from them. They ship the rock in water so it is more expensive but less chance of die off.

I can vouch for Richard and TBS rock, my 180 is done completely with his rock. I'm close enough that I picked the rock up so there was no die-off whatsoever but he does a fantastic job packing it and from all the reviews you see on it, there is very little die off upon shipping either. The rock is teeming with life ...... both growing on the rock itself and of course a bunch of critters, not all desirable. You will have to remove/trap some things out of the tank ..... gorilla crabs, mantis shrimp, whelks for instance. There are some very good shapes to the rock and they are full of holes (small fish and critters will go in a hole on one side and appear out the other) but they are a bit more of the 'boulder' look than some others. I am upgrading my tank right now and have ordered some manado rock to add to the tbs, i think this will allow a bit more creative scaping.

Richard is great to work with - check out his website or his forum and you can get a good idea of what his rock is all about.

When I started my 90 I went with the brs eco-rock - thinking I would try that to avoid hitchhikers and keep the price way down. Personally, I wouldn't do it again.

Y not wait till swap time and just cherry pick from macro rock can't go wrong with that crisp white lookin rock

Because that means I have too wait a few months before its in the tank. Waiting for the meeting waiting for it to cure waiting for me to get everything out of this tank to get all that new rock in.

Yea you right about that it would be about a 2month wait plus cure and all that other stuff. F that idk if you willin to travel but I know Pet Shanty has live rock so does OG 2 and Absolutley Fish not far from Dominics house maybe bang out 2 birds with 1 stone
