Well I've been in the market for a big tank for awhile. So I recently found a 150g tank for 75 bucks. Only minor problem was that the man said it had a small leak, so I thought to myself "no problem I've resealed tanks before". So I drive an hour to the guys house and the tank was in the basement with poor lighting and I couldn't see anything visibly wrong with the tank other then someone's attempt on revealing it. So anyways when I get it home and check it out I noticed it had several shallow chips on the edges where the two pains meat. They are about the size of a half dollar and like I said very shallow. It's 12mm thick glass and the chips are about 2 to 4 mm deep. What options do I have to put my mind at ease? Could I opoxy the chips and silicone corner braces over the chips and opoxy? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
