Need some advice with Sebae and leather coral.

3 weeks ago I added a sebae anemone to my tank. Tank is a year old and growing hard and soft coral nicely. Coraline algae everywhere. Stable parameters. So, the anemone looked great for two weeks. Then one night it detached and started floating around. I reduced flow to let it get attached. It looks ok but is somewhat deflated showing signs of stress. Also my leather coral also looks stressed it closed up even with the lights on. Which is a new condition, that coral has always looked good and healthy. I started run carbon a few days ago. I don’t believe they made contact. I’m preparing to move the anemone to a hospital tank. Any advice? I’m fairly experienced on and off for 20 years but no “expert” it’s a well set up tank. Dosing all for reef and bactobalance. Alk 8.5, phos .1, nitrate 3.4, salinity 1.025 everything has been stable for months now.

Post a picture of the anemone, they can get sick and may need antibiotics?

They also like a good amount of light. Moving around could be a search for a better light exposure, and not necessarily toxic issues from coral warfare?

They also like water currents that brings them food and a proper foot hold. I forget it Sebae like sand, or not?

But the picture, and this bump may get some more replies. GL

The anemone came in pretty bleached. I put it in a spot with good light but it moved into the shade for the first 2 weeks. Half of it recovered its color before it moved. Then kind of struggled a bit. It responded well to shading so I turned lights down from 80% to 50%. I have been adding about 5% every 3 days or so. I did a 10% water change after posting yesterday it seems to be doing better. I’m gonna do a 20% water change today and add more carbon afterwards. I have cipro on hand in case I need it. The main reason I was thinking chem warfare was my leather coral also having a rough time. I did post pics with the original post. I’m not sure why the didn’t post.
