Hi there,
I noticed something unusual forming around my coral and I’m not sure what it is.
Could you please help me identify it?
Should I remove it or take any specific action?
I’m still new to the hobby, so I really appreciate your guidance.

It looks almost like a sponge or tunicate, I’d remove it personally as it could risk suffocating the coral eventually.
The best way is likely going to be trying to get a scalpel or similar under the growth and attempting to lift it up then disposing of it.
