Hi all,

I am working on setting up my RO/DI unit in my laundry room at my apartment. I've been looking around for a non-copper Y valve for my washing machine cold water valve. I've found them for garden hoses but am not sure if those will work. Any ideas/suggestions?

Garden hose and washing machine hose is the same size
But copper going into RODI is fine. Most of the plumbing in your house is likely copper anyway , so going plastic on the splitter is not a thing

I was curious about this too. Wonder if it's hard on the filters or could sneak past .

If it’s sneaking past then everyone’s tanks would have copper. Because for the last hundred years copper was the main product used for water supply all around your house.
