i have this 100 litre tank. I am planning to get red belly piranha can someone help me to know how many should i buy or is this tank capacity is suitable for even one piranha or not? and what are the measure should i follow before putting piranha into the tank like ph water cycle and so on. Guys help me out in this..

As piranha should be kept in schools of at least 5 you would be looking at a minimum of 600 litres.

Granted you could keep a single fish in this aquarium.......when fully grown it would be rather cramped in there and to be honest......not happy.

As this is a reef forum...... maybe add salt and create another biotope aquarium of some description?

Yeah, as others stated way to small unfortunately. I kept a small school in a 100 gallon tank and that ended badly (I could show you pictures). They are very skittish fish and require to be kept in schools with lots of cover.

One small would work for a few years, but as others have noted not really suitable long term. Adding more than one will result in one after less than a year, Ime.
