I currently have a Nuvo 20 with corals and fish and recently acquired a new set up ( Red Sea 170). On the Red Sea i plan on doing new dry rock and new Carib sea sand. My current setup has been up for about a year. What would be the beat course of action for transferring all of the live stock ?

can it be done all at once? Meaning when the tank is ready move all of my current live rock, fish and corals into the new one.

or

setup the new tank with the dry rock and sand and add some of my live rock into the sump and let it run for a while ?

whag do you guys suggest
