My tank has gained peace now that I have removed my bully yellow tang, so I want to add some more fish, but keep the peace. I have a 280 gallon. My current fish are hippo tang, bicolor angel, copperband, royal gramma, lemon chromis, pair of maroon clowns, four wheel goby. A little worried about the gramma but he is 8 years old and full grown so thinking a smaller captive bred might work out. Wondering how nasty this fish is?

Can be very aggressive/territorial IME. Considered an orchid?

My dottyback recently took out a bluehead wrasse that was 3x its size. These fish are just plain nasty.

I hadn’t. Just really looking for some smaller fish that won’t be big competitors for my cbb’s mysis. Maybe just look at different kind altogether. Maybe a hawk fish or blenny instead

Get an orchid dottyback. Super chill and very pretty. Hawkfish murder inverts just FYI. You won’t have any snails.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
