Neon green long polyp toadstool dying?

Is this long polyp neon green toadstool dying? It is my favorite and it has been doing really well until I came back from a week trip, my friend was taking care of the tank while I was gone

The polyps are retracted, and there seems to be dark green spots developing on surface, as well as this one area of “decay” where it is losing flesh and can see inner flesh

hi,place in med to high flow area,see if decay increases ,give it a few days unless decay is rapid ,at that point would try to carve out decay ,iodine base dip .

nah it shedding.

Stop messing with it, or it will shed longer.

If its decaying it turns black and really mushy, like its gonna melt.
Do as fishguy says, put it in decient flow, iodine dip it because you were messing with it, and just let it sit.

I’ve had my toadstool retract for a couple days, but eventually will come back out bigger. I would move it to higher flow and leave it alone. It could possibly be shedding

Looks like it's shedding, my toadstools will look shrunken up with polyps retracted for a couple days before going back to normal.

I use Seachem Reef Dip.

I think any will be fine tho.

Lougol's is my preference
