I have had my nepthea for some time now almost an year and has grown so much that it does not fit in the bottom of the tank decided to to move it more to the top where higth ligthing is will it be fine ?

Just a few days ago I got a colt coral colony very cheap but also it does not fit in the bottom only place is in the top of the tank.. will both coral handle the higth ligth or will I have to make some adjustments to my reef ?
I would love to see them move with the current on top as they stretch pretty long ...
i have a 165 watt led black box on
100 % blues from 10 am to 9pm
20 % whites from 11:15 am to 7 pm
Tank is a 54 gallon corner tank

Sorry about the water just moved some rocks around and made a water change there is a lot of particles floating and coral closed
Is both on top

They should be fine.

While they don't require high lighting most leathers can handle just about anything.

I keep mine mid tank under moderate light but your location should be fine
