Keep getting these errors over and over

Shouldn’t the ATK be on and the ATO pump be on as well? It shows ATK off and ATO punk on? Especially since it should be off since the first sensor is covered?!

When you say you turn the ATK pump to on, do you mean the ATOPUMP1 outlet or the ATK outlet?

Mine had become clogged when mine did this causing the atk to run to long. I used a push pin to clean out the tiny hole the water goes through

The ATOPump outlet I turned on to see if it ran and got nothing.

That is not going to work. That does not control the pump. The ATK outlet does.

Turn the ATK outlet on and see if the pump works.

So I turned the ATK outlet on and the pump works! Pumps a nice stream of water.

So what gives? Do I have this setup wrong?

Is it ok to have the ATOPump plugged into the Apex 832 power bar outlet and always in the “on” position?

Thanks!

Set the ATK outlet to AUTO, leave the pump outlet ON and see what happens.

You don't need to have the ATK power supply on the EB832 as it is just wasting a controlled outlet.

The SET OFF alarm is because the Apex thinks an alarm just finished and it is resetting to normal.

Back on the float valve, it should not touch the water until after the water level is above the first sensor.

Ok that’s how the outlets are now. ATK is auto and the pump is on.

I just got this message too:

I’ll see how the float valve is. Right now the water level is above the first sensor. Almost touching the second sensor.

Frustrating for sure. Thanks for your help.

Going to ask the dumb IT style questions now:

Are you sure the sensors are plugged into the FMM correctly? (If the top sensor is dry but it is sending an alert that switch 2 is closed means they might be backwards or....)

Are you sure both sensors are plugged into the FMM all the way? (They can be stiffer than you anticipate)

When operating correctly, water should be about half way up the bottom sensor.

Haha no worries. I plugged 1 into the FMM port 1 and 2 into port 2...

I shoved them all the way in the unit.

Water is covering the bottom sensor and almost to the top sensor.

Any other ideas. Sick of getting these notifications. Thanks!

Did you install the anti siphon break?

Does the lower sensor show closed when the water is covering it? It may take a few minutes for the state to change in Fusion.

The siphon break was defective. It would shoot water out the side. So I have a replacement coming. It would shoot the water out the side of the anti siphon break.

I’ll check the status of the lower sensor today.

Thanks

The Siphon Break will squirt water out the hole in the side (When under pressure the water will be forced out the hole), just make sure that is aimed down into your reservoir (as indicated on the card).

Thanks. What card are you referring too?

Should I turn the ATO pump outlet “on” or keep it on auto?

When I got my ATK it came with a plastic card with simple directions on how to install the siphon break.

You are using an 832 outlet to power the FMM so it should be "ON" the ATK outlet should be in "Auto".

Ok thanks. Maybe that’s the issue?

I didn’t get a card.

Hopefully this fixes it. So the siphon break the hole at the 45 needs to point down so the water shoots out of that into the return section of my sump.

Still not sure the float valve is working properly.

No alarms overnight though which is weird.

I have the siphon break in my reservoir so water shoots backout into it and in case my sump overflows and reaches my top off line it can break the siphon.

What I suggest to see if this is working properly, take it apart completely even from your sump and set it up as stand alone on a bucket or something you can see the mechanics of it then on a regular outlet don’t set it up with apex or plug it into apex outlets. There are plenty of videos to set it up alone a few from Neptune them selfs. It sounds like the pump might be bad

This is the BRS set up video it’s more informative than Neptune

The siphon break should be installed in your ATO reservoir
