I’ve read through multiple articles and YouTube videos and still struggling to configure my Apex. Is there an Apex guru here who would be able to work with me on setting it up? Possibly through screen share or something? Willing to pay/compensate for your time. I’ve got probes/sensors going but as far as switches and outlet controls I’m lost.

I spent the weekend with it. Printed off the 165 page manual and seem to have everything working. Hard part was videos and literature all outdated it seems? Buttons and configuration slightly different. Only issue having is ph calibration won’t work on the 10.0 solution. Says failure check for update? Oh well seems to be reading correctly regardless. Anyways the basics with floats and sensor control is all working and tested to confirmed working. Now to just keep learning more cool functions :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I've learned a lot from here: https://www.reef2reef.com/ams/authors/suncrestreef.93940/

I'm really loving the flexibility of the Apex!

:astonished-face: Looks amazing! You definitely have it figured out. I had the wife take the kids to the in-laws today to have a day to get it going. Seems I need to do a lot more after seeing your dashboard :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Well, I started with an Apex Jr... once I "outgrew" that, I've slowly added over the past year.

I want one more DOS... another flow sensor in my UV, and a few other small things, but overall I'm happy with the setup.

Sure thing! What kind of cam are you using?
I don’t have one yet but I heard people not having luck with it but i could really use a cam for vacation on the display and maybe another over the fishroom to make sure everything is okay

Same! I would really love having two cameras. One for DT and one in basement on the sump. What camera are you using @Jesse Sunday?

I'm using Nest IQ cams just because that's what I have around my house. But anything that has HTTP or MPEG streaming options would work.

I love the embeded live thumbnail that Neptune includes in Fusion, but if I'm doing any serious looking at my tank I always use the native Nest App for the ability to zoom or rewind.

It might? Does the Amcrest allow direct access of the video via browser? Or, if not, does the Amcrest App allow sharing of streams via link?

Lost me no clue lol

No worries. How do you typically access your camera feeds? (through a web browser / app / dedicated program / etc.)

I don't want to hijack the OP's thread... OP, are you more comfortable with the "
but as far as switches and outlet controls I’m lost.

" yet? I'd love to help! :)
