Over night my EB8 832 shows disconnected on my Neptune dash. The EB8 832 light is on but I can manually turn on any outlet or control anything on it.
I've tried disconnecting the USB to the unit but it still shows disconnected.
The light on it is on and all the modules connected to it are powered on and I can manually run the doser connected to it, but I cant control it via the web site and shows disconnected.

To reconnect your Neptune EB832 Energy Bar, first, try restarting the device by quickly pressing the Apex controller's reset button. If that doesn't work, unplug and replug the power cable to the EB832, then disconnect and reconnect its Aquabus cable to the main Apex unit. If the issue persists, check the Modules list in your Neptune Fusion dashboard to see if the EB832 is listed with a specific Aquabus address and try to find it on your dashboard. You may also have a bad unit or a problematic device plugged into the EB832, so check for any error messages or faulty equipment.

Troubleshooting Steps
  1. Restart the Apex Controller: Press the Apex controller's reset button quickly to reboot it.

  2. Cycle Power to EB832: Unplug and replug the power cable to the EB832 unit.

  3. Check/Reseat Aquabus Cable: Disconnect the Aquabus cable from the main Apex base unit and plug it back in firmly.

  4. Check the Modules List:
    • In Neptune Fusion, click the Apex name in the upper-left corner of the dashboard.

    • Select "Modules" from the drop-down menu.

    • See if the EB832 is listed.
  5. Look for the EB832 on the Dashboard:
    • If the Modules list shows the EB832, note its Aquabus address.

    • Look for a tile named "EB832_#" on your dashboard, where "#" is the Aquabus address.

    • If it's not there, click the lock icon to enter the unused tiles area and look in there.
  6. Inspect Connected Devices: If the EB832 is still showing as disconnected, disconnect any devices (like WAVs or other equipment) plugged into the EB832 and reconnect them one at a time to see if one of them is causing the issue.
If you've tried these steps and still can't get the EB832 to reconnect, it's possible the EB832 itself is faulty. You may need to contact Neptune Systems support for further assistance.

OK, I tried items 1-4 and I've attached screen shots of what I'm seeing. I've even tried switching around usb connection points to see if the USB input was an issue.
Whats your thoughts.

Sounds like it's the 12V power supply is toast, especially if it's an older EB832.
Not sure. If I hit the manual dose button on the doser it works manually.
Its a newer one with Inertek on the back of the EB832

When mine went the DOS still worked manually however it was hooked up via Aquabus and receiving its power from an external power supply.

Did you disconnect everything from the outlets, and then restart the controller and “bad” 832 to see if it’s registering in fusion?

How many 832s do you have? Maybe borrow or swap aquabus cables to rule that out as the culprit.

I know these things can be finicky. I will say that Neptune support has been quick to respond.

Yup. I’ve tried it all. I put a ticket in with support.

Your communication circuit on EB832 is a toast. Has nothing to do with the 12v PSU.
