Neptune FMM lock ups

Hello all,
I am noticing that the FMM keep locking down and freez when connected as an ATK... I have solenoid valve connected to the FMM and every time the fmm lock down the valve turn off...
The only way to restart the fmm connection is by resetting it...
Am seeing multiple online threads about people facing the same issues but did not find a permanent fix.

Anyone else having similar issues and more importantly, anyone knows if neptune have found a fix for that?

The issue seems more to do with the solenoid running off the FMM than the FMM itself. Those solenoids can get pretty warm when on, which leads me to think that they are drawing a good bit of energy from the port...
One thing you might want to try is hooking the solenoid into one of the 24v ports on the EB832 (or another module such as the 1-link), if you can.

In any case; be sure to submit a ticket to Neptune Support if you have not already - they are going to be able to actually help you resolve the issue if any hardware swaps or the like are needed.

I do not think so. I honestly think there are multiple issues with the fmm.
I had lock ups but much less infrequent before I added the solniod and had only flow meters on it.
But granted the valve is accelerating the issue much more. I can trigger the lock up if I turn on and off the solenoid multiple times.
I did submit a ticket to Neptune, they want me to do 2 weeks trial by removing the flow meters each at a time for a week and see. So it look like they do know some issues that are triggered by the flow meters.
I see many threads talking about issues with the atk and the fmm... most similar to me from pump stop working to solniod stop working because fmm is locking up.
Thank God I did not switch my ato to their atk kit cause I was fearing of bugs and kinks in the atk and behold I was right lol...
Seeing the thread out there including om neptune support site i have a feeling there was no fix, as i did not see anyone said they fixed it for him/her.
So I will buy reliable stand alone solniod and operate it independently from the fmm..that would be the best option for now.
Yet another module rendered useless from neptune.
I have thrown away my wxm, link1, ALD and look like the fmm is on the way out...
So frustrating.
I know someone will jump here and start defending neptune and accuse me of being biased ha ha ha...

Just got good feedback from neptune CS. Look like there might be some issues with the flow sensors. Will follow a plan they gave me to debug and will update this thread.

Yes the claim is that their flow meters have some faults that causes the modules to lock down...I repeat, the flow meter is causing the flow module to lock up lol.
And indeed my testing indicate that once I have flow meter connected to the fmm or atk it lock up while when I disconnect it, module is fine for couple of days.
To their credit they offered to change my flow meter at no cost.
But I ended up deciding just to give up on the fmm and atk and move on.
I put a more reliable flow meter from PRS instead.
