how do i hook it up if a have wifi from sprint with cable exit and the apex take to ethernet

If I understand your question you essentially have 3 options:
#1: Based on distance from tank to cable modem, you can plug Ethernet directly from cable modem/switch to your Apex
#2: Purchase a 'wireless gaming adapter' (Amazon,NewEgg, Best Buy, Fry's..). It will put your Apex on your wireless network.
#3: Purchase a 'powerline adapter' (same as above). It uses your homes existing electrical lines to transmit Ethernet. It will take 2 pieces, one plugs in next to your cable modem/switch, the other you put next to your Apex.

Any will do the job, wireless is most flexible, powerline should require zero configuration, just plug and go.
If you go wireless, I would avoid TrendNet, I have purchased 3 to this point, all have had issues.
