Now that I’m comfortable with my Trident, I want to use the dosing feature (Ca and KH). I do have a very good CaReactor—-isn’t it redundant to have a Ca Reactor AND dosing Ca and KH?

There are definitely a few people that do it that way-- its not redundant at all. The Calcium Reactor provides the majority of elements, and then the Trident/DOS can dose 2 part to adjust for any changes.

You can also use the Trident to control your Calcium Reactor. There are good resources on the Official Neptune Systems Facebook group for that.
