I got a Neptune Trident (ACM) two months ago to test for me and have it paired with the Dos to automate my dosing. Up until this point, it has worked like a dream. My levels had been pegged and everything was running smoothly.... until it wasn't. I noticed an Alk test result way above where it should be (12+ dkh) which obviously caused me to sprint to the tank because I assumed the Dos had just dumped half my alkalinity into the tank. What I found instead, was the Trident sitting in a pool of reagent mixed with tank water. I reached out to Neptune about it and, to their credit, they sent me another one within the same week. Unfortunately.... the new one has the exact same problem as the previous. The reagents are leaking inside of the unit, test results are inaccurate, and no liquid is making its way into the waste container. Has anyone else experienced this with either version of the Trident? I was going to get myself the Trident NP as well, but not if this situation doesn't resolve itself and I can't get tests done without a leak.

Yeah, that’s not normal, I have two of these for about five years now. I’d get with Neptune again.

I’ve had the Trident ACM for about 3 years and NP for a little over a year with no issues other than clogs for the sample line once or twice. These are really easy to disassemble and work on if you have a little mechanical ability. You can take the cover off and check to be sure all lines are connected internally.

I have experienced this but very odd even the replacement did the same. I ended up finding some clogs by the splitter. If you are handy, go ahead and clean out all the tubes especially the supply and waste lines. And dry out the trident as much and fast as you can, if that liquid gets into the solenoids its game over.
