I hope no one's offended by my writing style and not trying to make myself look better than anyone, if others have similar experiences please comment


Most of you have it easy with most SPS/LPS there's detail information on most of those corals. At one time SPS/LPS were in the same scenario as the corals I'm going to mention. There's info on the corals I'm keeping just not detailed and precise,corals I'm talking about dendronephthya, scleronephthya, so since returning (started 10/2017) , it's been trail and error . I buy wholesale so that means minimum one box of my corals till they perish and do again. Again with the coral bans getting harder to obtain . Point is I have a graveyard of live rock every one of those corals that perish was on one rock. But I keep trying till we successed. The cultured pearl took the inventor 20 years before he had his eureka moment. And there's many more examples. Again, I hope no one's offended by my writing style and not trying to make myself look better than anyone, if others have similar experiences please comment. With time I will add more true experiences like Thomas Edison and his steps to success and others. Never give up!!!

We need to view it this way , one day future generations won't see some of the beautiful corals we have today. So try to choose those within reason/budget and try unlocking the key for them to thrive, for future generations , for your kids,grandkids, or nephews/nieces or friends kids. That how I see it, and with the corals I'm keeping I see 5-20 years if I'm still alive, hoping I or others unlock the key to success. Always remember, never give up!!!

That how I see it, and with the corals I'm keeping I see 5-20 years if I'm still alive, hoping I or others unlock the key to success. Always remember, never give up!!!

There's SPS corals still challenging to make thrive, and other species , I'm working with NPS soft corals, dendronephthya, scleronephthya,ect.... we still haven't unlock the secret to their success. With coral bans, the variety of corals is shrinking.
Just trying open the eyes of reef keepers on striving to conserve what's left.
