New 120 build after a year + break

Well couldnt stay away from the hobby long wife wouldnt have it lol. So i decided on a 120 this time. Good thing i saved alot of my equipment from my 80 build

So i started with building a custom stand and canopy of course we argued over color glad we went with white this time. So stand is 2x4 and 2x6 framed skinned in oak ply inside is lined with pvc board and bottom 8inches is water tight just incase .
Canopy is same wood with 2 linaer actuators for auto lifting

As for equipment im starting off with more to add and swap out after the new year

2 mp40s (soon to be upgraded)
Reef octopus skimmer
Jebao return ( swaping to m1)
Apex classic with 2pm1 pm2 lsm 2temp probes 3ph probes need a new salinty probe
2jebao dp4 masters going to swap one to a slave
100lb of Billy'sreefrock
Custom sump with baffles made by Marv

Just a few more things to tidy up and do make top for canopy get acrylic doors made custom size ato reservoir made move the ecotech ballast

Added a few fish so far a yellow a hippo and a naso tangs 2 clowns a foxface and a diamond goby

Excellent work on the stand.

Can you please explain a little what you did in the front panel of the stand. The sump “door”. What’s the mechanism to open that?

Is it convenient?

I have a 6ft tank stand that I am building and i made it in a way that I don’t have a center support beam in the front. So I got this big gaping hole that won’t be appropriate for 2 doors. So I am trying to figure out what to do.

Appreciate some more detailed pics and text so I can see if I can use some of that.
