New 180 in wall start

Well been looking for new tank everywhere i checked was right at 2000 for 180 delivered to Reno which is 2hr drive for me. Found a used 180 at Lfs in reno for 400 so picked it up today with lumber to inclose part of sun room to new fish room and house used to have 3 windows between living room and sun room windows removed now time to tear out frame reframe for in wall and build room to house everything wish me luck.

Well got started with tearing out old window frames installed tank stand and started on walls to new fish room. Lol enough for today got to relax some.

got the rest of plywood to finish walls and ceiling for room and electric stuff to run new plugs and light for room. Daughter said have to wait for her before I can finish walls and ceiling lol guess i'll have help in morning for a bit fun thing she is almost 6 months pregnant. but I still cant do any wood work with out her being here or I get the lecture for hrs. got hopefully all the plumbing for tank so that's on the list to. Once walls or done have to wait 2 weeks for door not paying 3 times price local for door will make the 2hr drive to closest lowes to get door and pick up sand and liverock to get this thing closer to up and running.

Ok walls up plywood on front just have to wait to get facing to go on plywood and trim lights and return pump will be here weds. So far sump is almost plumbed electric will be finished this week only thing left is liverock and sand then will be ready for water.

Ok panels up trim up have to wait for it to warm up alittle before i paint trim. Got 120lbs of sand so far have other light and rock on way. Waiting on plumbing supplies also getting closer to putting water in it

Ok add 130lbs of live rock to dryrock in tank transferred all corals and livestock over remember I have kepted all fish and liverock in stuffed 70gl til I had this tank up so used most of water out of 70 and 30gl sump had water saved from waterchanges so only had to make up about 40gls of new to get tank going will post pic

Pics of tank and fish room have new lights coming and still have to plumb in my overflow rubbermade its just a safety messure incase power outage water sump can not hold flows into it . Will have pump in it when power comes back on will pump water back in tank and shut off when rubbermade is empty. So just have to finish wiring in float switchs .

everything is good so far just have to get return pumps timed right. Having alge bloom thank god its not to bad everything is doing good.

FYI eggcrate wont stop wrasse/other jumpers. Better than nothing, but I've had fish go through.
