I have had this guy for about a week. He is my QC tank in my garage. No spots. No signs of any illness. He has progressively gotten lighter and lighter everyday. The only thing I can think of is temp temp is a little high at 80f to 81f because this tank is in the garage. Idk what to do. Only other fish in there is a copperband. They are both eating like champs.

Temperature shouldnt cause this.
Is fish breathing heavy or normal and is it eating?
Please post a video using bright white light intensity, no blue and any scratching, swimming in path of water flow as examples?

Hes not breathing heavily. He is eating 3 times a day. He is flashing a bit.

Ill post a video shortly

It's usually a sign of stress, but can also be mood.

Im seeing spots today. Going to try to dip him.

I see spots also. In the video, this is more of a blotchy white. Stress or poor diet or water quality issues can cause this species to become pale and faded, but not blotchy like this. I think it has flukes and/or ich.

Dips won’t really help control those diseases. You’ll need to treat all exposed fish with Coppersafe at 2.25 ppm and then praziquantel for flukes.

Dip wont be the answer. You will need to place fish in Quarantine tank and treat with Coppersafe or Copper Power at therapeutic level 2.25 for a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored with a Hanna Brand copper test kit- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone. All other fish in with it should also be removed as they have also been exposed to the parasites and placed in quarantine tank.
The display tank will have to be kept fishless (FALLOW) for 6-8 weeks to assure the existing parasites go through their life cycle without a host fish and die off. Inverts and coral can remain in the display (not treatment) tank during fallow period.
What foods are you feeding ?

They are eating algea pallets and frozen mysis shrimp.

Very insufficient diet. Add foods such as:
LRS herbivore diet
Formula 2 flake and frozen
TDO Pellets
small plankton
Hikari Marine cuisine
Ocean nutrition veggie diet
spirulina brine shrimp
mysis shrimp
Prime reef
Nori seaweed basted with garlic extract

Add selcon vitamins to foods occasionally

Tangs love nori, presoaked in some selcon and garlic extract. If not want to deal with nori in a QT, which I totally get...I like the TDO chroma boost pellets and Hikari Seaweed Extreme pellets.

I believe the light color (independent of the ich) is you're placing the fish in a nearly white background. The treatment of ich has already been described.
