picked up a anemone off of a local reefer today who's anemone split. I placed it between 2 rocks and let it sit for a while. When I turned my flow back on after an hour , the flow started to hit him and sway him back and forth , I placed both power heads towards top of water , and the anemone began to move . He's making his way across the rock but I'm wondering what is the best direction to point powerheads so it won't affect him.

(Also my skunk cleaner shrimp seems to enjoy bothering the anemone )

I would set flow as you want it. The nem will go where he likes it, sometimes we dont like where they go but they are stubborn lol

The nem wont bother the shrimp, and the shrimp is just trying to grab food. As far as flow Bone is correct, adjust your flow how you lik it. The nem is going to find his spot on his own.

Cover your powerhead with sheer elastic so if it walks over one it won't get sacked through. It will find a spot soon enough.

When it comes to flow , the more ripple on top of water, the better?

LOL got it. How can I get clown to take to anemone

Some have swayed the clowns toward the nem and have said it works. In all my experience with them is they will on there own and some clowns will never host although I have never actually seen a clown not host anything they host corals to. But I have see plenty of threads where a clown just wont host a nem. With that said there is little you can do but wait. Usually a couple weeks and they will be nested down in the nem

The clown will have to find the nem on its own. It sometimes takes weeks or months, but almost always they eventually end up there.
