Getting a new Apexel today and looking the set it up on my tank. I currently have a Apex Jr. on the tank now which I will either set up on my second tank or sell.
Questions are
Can I have both the Jr. and EL running at the same time?
Will I need two different Fusion accounts? Or will both work on one?
and If I choise to go with just the EL how do I switch them to avoid any hassle I might have?

I don't know much about the EL but I do have a couple of years with fusion and all of them still use that as the interface. if you look in your apex list (the leftmost tab in fusion) it allows room for more than one controller so you won't have to start another entire fusion account.

I dont have an EL but I do have a Jr and Apex Classic, so I did a migration before (and run both now)

Can can run both Controllers but each will be independent. (ie you cannot hook them up together in any way. (ie) You cannot control an EB8 or any other peripheral from both). YOu will have to decide what to hook up to each controller, but you could run everything from the newer controller and keep your JR for backup. Or use your JR to have 4 AC ports.

Each will have their own IP address, and both will show up On Fusion.
Both will work with ONE Fusion account. You will get to choose after login which Apex Controller you want to see.

Before you do any switch over, backup your Apex Jr Config, just in case you want to go back to original setup on JR.

To switch over, from JR to Another Apex Controller you will disconnect your stuff and hook up to EL via Aquabus cables.
BUT BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT ANYTHING
you will have to go into your Apex Jr (Port and other setup). Copy config to a notepad, then copy your programming to the same Peripherals on the new controller.
