New begginer corals

Hi all hope sombody could help me, so iv just went and bought 2 newbie corals for begginers and in the shop they were moving around all colourful etc.... and now I have got home they look nothing of the sort and look like they are dead or something! Is this normal for them to be like this until they re open?
