I have a green base with orange tentacle right now.
I just gotta decide which one I want to keep - the new one or the bi-color...

Sure can. It's been getting bigger already (probably twice the diameter as when I got it), so when it got over what ever the stressor was it's started taking off (ran low Alk for a while, so that was probably it).

They all come out looking red, but I'm seeing yellow and orange under Phoenix 14K 250 DE's and VHO 03's... Here are a few. The second is an actinic shot auto level corrected and then faded back a little in PS6;). It really looks like that under VHO 03's:).

I first saw it in Nashville at the frag swap this past january and wanted it from that point forward. My wife liked it then, so she didn't want to kill me for more than a few minutes when I told her what was in the box:D.

I am failing to see the difference in these and other BTAs other than a slight tint.

In person, it's orange now. It seems have lost some of the yellow that was in it (espcially noticable under actinics), but the orange has gotten deeper and deeper.

Yeah they are really deep orange. Mine also lost the yellow tips but they are coming back a little. Under t5s the yellow is awesome

Nice nem... Wish I could keep them, but having them roam around just drives me nuts.

I got one from Bill around 8 months ago. At first it took a beating, bleaching a little bit and then shriveling like yours did Gflat. After about 3 months it came back and now its about 6-7" across and ready to split :)

Lovely animals, I want to set up a display tank just for it (But probably wont).
