New build plan for a small - mid size shallow lagoon reef.

Here’s what I have planned out so far. Let me know what y’all think. Plan on having a few islands that will have zoas and acans, other hardier corals as well, (lps / softies).

Plan to have a pair of clowns and one surgeon fish. Thinking a bristle tooth, or a yellow tang.

Tank would be 36 long x 24 deep, 8 in depth.

Still not sold on the blades, other option would be radion blue.

Let me know what y’all think.

8” is very shallow and the blades put out a lot of par. 2x grow hung from fairly high would be more than enough for your corals .

I’m sure you are aware but I’ll go ahead and say it for the record: a 36” tank, especially one that shallow, would probably eventually create a stressed out and aggressive yellow tang.
